Donations are always welcome!
Kathrine (Katrina) Selmer Johansen, artist, designer and founder of KSJ Designs, is also the visionary behind the Village People’s Movement — a grassroots initiative born from her deep commitment to social justice, creativity, and sustainable enterprise.
Since 1993, Katrina has worked with marginalised communities across Thailand, Cambodia, and Indonesia, teaching design, sewing, and artisan skills to village women, people with disabilities, and children. Her goal has always been simple but powerful:
To empower, not to donate.
To create opportunity, not dependency.
Katrina also consulted as a psychologist to orphanages, hospitals and NGO’s.
